Does Congress just resmemble a bunch of money grubbers, poluters, and thugs that are harmful to America?
As much as we get frustrated with Congresses constanted bickering isn't that their job, to debate?
Would America be better without a Congress and if so what would replace it?
This is an interesting cartoon because it reflects how many Americans feel towards the government: frustrated. To us, it might seem as if nothing is really getting accomplished, but behind the scenes they are constantly debating and working to get bills passed. I do not think that Congress is full of "money grubbers, polluters, and thugs," although I do think some members are too stuck in their party's point of view. I am not suggesting that they should ditch all of their political beliefs in Congress, I just think many of them are too stubborn to pass a bill simply because it has been suggested by their opposing party. This system often impedes progress in our country, which leads to that frustration among citizens.
